Richard Goldsmith

Goldsmith currently oversees distribution to worldwide media platforms and related consumer products and experiences rights for the company’s original productions from subsidiaries Atomic Cartoons (kids & family), Great Pacific Media (unscripted) and Thunderbird Scripted (comedy, drama series) under the Thunderbird Distribution and Thunderbird Brands labels. Previously, he founded and led the US subsidiary of French animation company, Cyber Group Studios. He is an accomplished business executive in the television and animation industries who has led production, development, media distribution, licensing and merchandising and business development for major brands at companies including The Walt Disney Company, Warner Bros., The Jim Henson Company and Univision Communications. Richard is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Southern California’s John C. Hench School of Animation & Digital Arts, where he teaches graduate-level animation artists about the business of animation.
