Meldal-Johnsen is executive VP of global content at ITV Studios. Meldal-Johnsen leads the Global Distribution division’s programme acquisitions, co-productions and content strategy across all genres, along with managing the distributor’s relationships with producers.
Prior to this, Meldal-Johnsen was based in the Los Angeles office as senior executive VP of scripted and business development, ITV Studios America with responsibility for driving the growth strategy and business operations of the company’s US scripted business. This included the management of ITV Studios America’s first look deals with producers and overseeing the development and production of scripted projects across ITV America’s group of companies. Before this Meldal-Johnsen held a variety of senior roles within ITV Studios in distribution and production, having initially joined the ITV PLC central legal team upon the merger of Carlton and Granada.
